Heating

The Rixen Diesel Heater provides most of the heat options for these conversion vans. This diesel motor heats glycol lines that then are pumped to each heating appliance.

Hot Water

Fresh water can be stored in a tank surrounding the wheel well or below the van. Cold water is pumped directly to the cold tap as well as through a double wall exchange to be heated by hot glycol and sent to the hot tap.


Heated Forced Air

Glycol is pumped through a furnace that pushes air out and into the van through a custom vent.


Heated Floors

A glycol loop is pumped through a closed circuit under the sub floor. This loop is continuously heated and cycled through the pipes to keep the floor hot.


Battery Warmer

A glycol loop is run directly past the batteries and back to the furnace to keep hot glycol flowing and warm the batteries.


 

& Cooling

To remain sustainable on the road, solar panels charge a battery bank to supply power to our cooling features.

A/C

The A/C unit we use in most of our vans is the Dometic CoolAir 2000 RTX. It provides the best results with dependable cooling features and a power saving mode.


Fan

The MaxxFan has proven to be the simplest and most reliable ceiling fan for 12V use.
